1. What driving experience do I need to rent a 4×4 for the Gobi Desert?

You should be comfortable driving a manual transmission and have experience with basic off-road terrain. No extreme off-roading experience is required — we provide a full vehicle briefing and driving tips before departure.

All you need is a valid international driver’s license (or a license with a Latin alphabet). No special permits are required to explore the Gobi Desert by car.

Each 4×4 comes fully equipped with a rooftop tent, camping kitchen, cool box, water tank with shower, off-road tires, recovery gear, and an awning setup. Everything you need to be self-sufficient and comfortable on your adventure.

We provide suggested itineraries, offline maps, and local insights to help you plan your perfect road trip. You’re free to explore at your own pace — go where the adventure leads you.

Cell service is limited in remote areas, but we provide offline GPS navigation and emergency contact tools to keep you safe and on track wherever you go.
